Today Alljays Limited in Walsall West Midlands have been appointed as main stainless stell fabricators for Cater Equipment. All jays will manufacture and produce all our Tailor Made Stainless Steel Catering Equipment. This includes tables, sinks, extraction, shleving and hot cupboards. The working relationship starts with our New Pilgrim Homes project. Alljays will work from our CAD drawings to produce superior equipment for durability and cost effectiveness.

We have now won the contract to refurbish one of Pilgrim Homes main residential homes in Brighton, East Sussex.  Works are due to begin on 10 November and will last for three weeks.  The project includes general building works, new extraction system, altro flooring, cater cladding and various other catering equipment.  Philips Peters from Keegans has been appointed CDM on the project and Gary Gahan from Casseva has been appointed as site supervisor. Karl Joseph has been appointed project manager.

Cater Equipment is now officially supplying the City YMCA.  We have already Installed a new Rational SCC61E Combi Oven with a Brita Purity 600 Softener and we are tendering on other equipment requirements.  The Catering Manager said that all her staff were very pleased with the installation.

We are very proud to announce that we did win the contract to re-furbish the StClements School Kitchen in Hertfordshire. The contract is now completed and the school are extremely happy with the results. Speaking to Suzie the acting Head, she said that the school would be more than happy to recommend us for any Job. Cater Equipment have also offered to sponsor a School Project!

The UK government has responded to pressure from campaigners and is now set to tackle the unscrupulous practice of restaurants making use of staff tips to make up the minmum wage. The National Mimumum Wage Act, will now make it illegal for employers to use this cheap tactic to bump up their staff’s minimum wage.
