The UK government has responded to pressure from campaigners and is now set to tackle the unscrupulous practice of restaurants making use of staff tips to make up the minmum wage. The National Mimumum Wage Act, will now make it illegal for employers to use this cheap tactic to bump up their staff’s minimum wage.
It is my absolute pleasure to announce that the www.caterequipment.com website has been re-launched today with a completely new and upto date design.
The system has a state of the art ordering process that includes Google Checkout, Paypal and our own merchant account through LIoyds TSB Cardnet. The site has a user area, product review section, wishlist, one page checkout and above all really friendly navigation and layout.
We have over 8000 catering equipment products that we will be adding to the site over the coming months. The products will range from utensils to complete kitchen fit-outs.
The website lauch will be accompanied by our 300 page catalogue which is due out in September 2008 and our flash E-catalogue which will also be due out in September.
